سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوا عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ قَالَ الْعَدْلُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ الْإِمَامُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا مِمَّا أَخْطَأَتْ بِهِ الْكُتَّابُ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from Ibn Bukeyr, from Zurara who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:5#h95"><a href="/books/quran:5#h95">[5:95]</a></a> as two just persons among you shall judge</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The just ones are Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> and the Imam<sup>asws</sup> from after him<sup>saww</sup>’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This is from what the scribes have erred with (during the compilation of) the Book (the holy Quran)’.
