Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad who said, ‘Abu Al-Hassanasws said: ‘Do you know why Al-Ta’if has been named so?’ I said, ‘No’. Heasws said: ‘When Ibrahimas supplicated to hisas Lordazwj that Heazwj should Grace hisas family from the fruits, Heazwj Cut-off a piece of land for them, from the Jordan. So it came over until it performed <span class="iTxt">Tawaaf</span> by the House (Kaaba), seven (circuits). Then Allahazwj Settled it in its place. And rather, Al-Ta’if was named so due to the <span class="iTxt">Tawaaf</span> of the House (Kaaba)’.
