Translation

Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Hadeed, from Ali Bin Al Numan, raising it, said, ‘Amir Al-Momineenasws, whenever heasws ascended Al-Safa, faced the Kabah, then raised hisasws hand, then heasws was saying: ‘O Allahazwj! Forgive measws, every sin that Iasws have sinned. So if Iasws were to return (to sinning), then Return to measws with the Forgiveness, for Youazwj are the Forgiver, the Merciful. O Allahazwj! Deal with me what Youazwj are Rightful of, for if Youazwj were to deal with me what Youazwj are Rightful of, Youazwj would be Merciful with me; and if Youazwj were to Punish me, so Youazwj are needless from Punishing me, and I am needy to Yourazwj Mercy. So, since I am needy to Yourazwj Mercy, be Merciful to me. O Allahazwj! Do not Deal with measws what Iasws am deserving of, for if Youazwj were to Deal with measws what Iasws am deserving of, Youazwj would Punish me, and would not be oppressing measws. Iasws have come to be fearful of Yourazwj Justice, and Iasws do not fear Yourazwj Inequity, since the one who is Just would not be tyrannical. Be Merciful to me!’
