سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ مُتَمَتِّعٍ وَقَعَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَ لَمْ يُقَصِّرْ فَقَالَ يَنْحَرُ جَزُوراً وَ قَدْ خِفْتُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ ثُلِمَ حَجُّهُ إِنْ كَانَ عَالِماً وَ إِنْ كَانَ جَاهِلًا فَلَا شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the performer of <span class="iTxt">Tumatto</span> falling upon his wife, and he had not shortened (hair, nails, etc.). So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should sacrifice a camel, and I<sup>asws</sup> am fearful that he has broken his Hajj if he was knowledgeable (of it), but if he did not know, so there is nothing upon him’.
