حَصَى الْجِمَارِ إِنْ أَخَذْتَهُ مِنَ الْحَرَمِ أَجْزَأَكَ وَ إِنْ أَخَذْتَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ الْحَرَمِ لَمْ يُجْزِئْكَ قَالَ وَ قَالَ لَا تَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ إِلَّا بِالْحَصَى .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The pebbles for (pelting) <span class="iTxt">Al-Jamarah</span>, if you were to take it from the <span class="iTxt">Harram</span>, it would suffice you, and if you take it from other than the <span class="iTxt">Harram</span>, it would not suffice you’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The <span class="iTxt">Jamarah</span> cannot be pelted with except by the pebbles’.
