رَأَيْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَمْشِي بَعْدَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ حَتَّى يَرْمِيَ الْجَمْرَةَ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ رَاكِباً وَ كُنْتُ أَرَاهُ مَاشِياً بَعْدَ مَا يُحَاذِي الْمَسْجِدَ بِمِنًى قَالَ وَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ النَّوْفَلِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ قَالَ نَزَلَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فَوْقَ الْمَسْجِدِ بِمِنًى قَلِيلًا عَنْ دَابَّتِهِ حَتَّى تَوَجَّهَ لِيَرْمِيَ الْجَمْرَةَ عِنْدَ مَضْرِبِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ لِمَ نَزَلْتَ هَاهُنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَاهُنَا مَضْرِبَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ مَضْرِبَ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ وَ أَنَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَمْشِيَ فِي مَنَازِلِ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ .
Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Mahziyar who said, ‘I saw Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> walking, after the day of the sacrifice, until he<sup>asws</sup> pelted the <span class="iTxt">Jamarah</span>. Then he<sup>asws</sup> left riding; and I saw him<sup>asws</sup> walking afterwards walking adjoining the Masjid in Mina’. He (the narrator) said, ‘An Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Suleyman Al-Nowfaly narrated to me, from Al-Hassan Bin Salih, from one of his companions who said: ‘Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> got down from his<sup>asws</sup> animal, higher than the Masjid by a little, until he<sup>asws</sup> diverted in order to pelt the <span class="iTxt">Jamarah</span> at the spot of Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>’. So I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! Why did he get down over there?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Over there is a spot of Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>, and a spot of the Clan of Hashim, and I<sup>asws</sup> loved it to walk in the encampments of the Clan of Hashim’.
