سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الضَّحِيَّةِ تَكُونُ الْأُذُنُ مَشْقُوقَةً فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ شَقَّهَا وَسْماً فَلَا بَأْسَ وَ إِنْ كَانَ شَقّاً فَلَا يَصْلُحُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the slaughter which happens to have torn ears. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If its tear is a mark, so there is no problem, and if it was a tear, so it is not correct’.
