لَمَّا حَضَرَ الْحُسَيْنَ ( عليه السلام ) مَا حَضَرَهُ دَفَعَ وَصِيَّتَهُ إِلَى ابْنَتِهِ فَاطِمَةَ ظَاهِرَةً فِي كِتَابٍ مُدْرَجٍ فَلَمَّا أَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) مَا كَانَ دَفَعَتْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) قُلْتُ لَهُ فَمَا فِيهِ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ مَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ وُلْدُ آدَمَ مُنْذُ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا إِلَى أَنْ تَفْنَى .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسین بن سعید سے، انہوں نے ابن سنان سے، انہوں نے ابو الجارود سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر (عليه السلام) سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: جب وہ چیز حسین (عليه السلام) پر آئی جو ان پر آئی، تو انہوں نے اپنی وصیت اپنی بیٹی فاطمہ کے سپرد ظاہراً ایک لپٹے ہوئے کتابچے میں کی۔ پھر جب حسین (عليه السلام) کے معاملے میں وہ واقعہ پیش آیا جو پیش آیا، تو اس نے وہ علی بن حسین (عليه السلام) کے حوالے کر دیا۔ میں نے ان سے کہا: تو اس میں کیا ہے، اللہ آپ پر رحم فرمائے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: وہ چیز جس کی آدم کی اولاد کو ضرورت ہے، جب سے دنیا وجود میں آئی یہاں تک کہ وہ فنا ہو جائے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Ibn Sinan, from Abu Al Jaroud, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When it presented to Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> what presents (death), he<sup>asws</sup> handed over his<sup>asws</sup> bequest to his<sup>asws</sup> daughter Syeda Fatima<sup>as</sup> apparently, in a sealed Book. So when it was from the matter of Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> what was (martyrdom at Karbala 61 AH), he<sup>asws</sup> handed that over to Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>’. I said to him<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, ‘So what is in it? May Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> have Mercy on you<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>!’. So he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Whatever the children of Adam<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> would be needy to, since the world existed up to its annihilation’.
