اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فَإِذا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُها قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَتْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَكُلُوا مِنْها وَ أَطْعِمُوا الْقانِعَ وَ الْمُعْتَرَّ قَالَ الْقَانِعُ الَّذِي يَرْضَى بِمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ وَ لَا يَسْخَطُ وَ لَا يَكْلَحُ وَ لَا يَلْوِي شِدْقَهُ غَضَباً وَ الْمُعْتَرُّ الْمَارُّ بِكَ لِتُطْعِمَهُ .
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Sama’at, from someone else, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Abdullah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> the Exalted. <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:22#h36"><a href="/books/quran:22#h36">[22:36]</a></a> then when they fall down by the side</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When it falls upon the ground, so eat from it, and feed the needy who do not beg, and the passer-by’. He (the narrator) said: ‘الْقَانِعُ is the one who is pleased with what he is given and neither gets angry nor frown, nor twists his mouth out of anger; and الْمُعْتَرُّ is the one who passes by, so you feed him’.
