قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الصَّلَاةُ فِي الْحَرَمِ كُلِّهِ سَوَاءٌ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ مَا الصَّلَاةُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ كُلِّهِ سَوَاءً فَكَيْفَ يَكُونُ فِي الْحَرَمِ كُلِّهِ سَوَاءً قُلْتُ فَأَيُّ بِقَاعِهِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ مَا بَيْنَ الْبَابِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ الْأَسْوَدِ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Abu Ayoub Al Khazzaz, from Abu Ubeyda who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> in the <span class="iTxt">Harram</span>, all of it is the same?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘O Abu Ubeyda! The <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> in the Sacred Masjid is not the same, and how can it happen to be the same in the <span class="iTxt">Harram</span>?’ I said, ‘So which spot is the most superior?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘What is between the Door (of the Kabah) to the Black Stone’.
