Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Umar who said, ‘We were in Makkah, and we were hit by high prices from the sacrificial animal. So we bought it with a Dinaar, then with two Dinars. Then we could not find any, neither for less nor for more. So Hisham Al-Makary wrote a note and sent it to Abu Al-Hassanasws and informed himasws what we had bought, then we could neither find for less nor more’. So heasws signed: ‘Consider the first price, and the second, and the third, then give in charity with the likes of a third of it (Average of the three prices)’.
