قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَتِ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ لِعِيسَى يَا رُوحَ اللَّهِ مَنْ نُجَالِسُ قَالَ مَنْ يُذَكِّرُكُمُ اللَّهَ رُؤْيَتُهُ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي عِلْمِكُمْ مَنْطِقُهُ وَ يُرَغِّبُكُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَمَلُهُ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد البرقی سے، انہوں نے شریف بن سابق سے، انہوں نے الفضل بن ابی قرہ سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: حواریوں نے حضرت عیسیٰ سے عرض کی، اے روحُ اللہ! ہم کس کے ساتھ بیٹھیں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: اس کے ساتھ جس کا دیدار تمہیں اللہ کی یاد دلائے، اور جس کی گفتگو تمہارے علم میں اضافہ کرے، اور جس کا عمل تمہیں آخرت کا شوق دلائے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al Barqy, from Shreef Bin Sabiq, from Al Fazl Bin Abu Qurrat, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The disciples said to Isa<sup>as</sup>, ‘O Spirit of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Whom should we sit with (in a gathering)?’ He<sup>as</sup> said: ‘The one whose reports remind you of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, and his speaking increases in your knowledge, and his deeds make you desirous regarding the Hereafter’’.
