سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَمَّا يَقُولُ النَّاسُ فِي الرَّوْضَةِ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فِيمَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي وَ مِنْبَرِي رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَ مِنْبَرِي عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ فَمَا حَدُّ الرَّوْضَةِ فَقَالَ بُعْدُ أَرْبَعِ أَسَاطِينَ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ إِلَى الظِّلَالِ فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مِنَ الصَّحْنِ فِيهَا شَيْءٌ قَالَ لَا .
Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Hadeed, from Muraam who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about what the people were saying regarding the Garden. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘In what is between my<sup>saww</sup> house and my<sup>saww</sup> Pulpit, there is a Garden from the Gardens of the Paradise, and my<sup>saww</sup> Pulpit is upon a channel from the channels of the Paradise’. So I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! So what is the boundary of the Garden?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘A distance of four pillars from the Pulpit up to the shaded area’. So I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! Is there anything from the courtyard in it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No’.
