John Shaqi

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) صُمِ الْأَرْبِعَاءَ وَ الْخَمِيسَ وَ الْجُمُعَةَ وَ صَلِّ لَيْلَةَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ وَ يَوْمَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ عِنْدَ الْأُسْطُوَانَةِ الَّتِي تَلِي رَأْسَ النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ لَيْلَةَ الْخَمِيسِ وَ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ عِنْدَ أُسْطُوَانَةِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ وَ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عِنْدَ الْأُسْطُوَانَةِ الَّتِي تَلِي مَقَامَ النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ ادْعُ بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ لِحَاجَتِكَ وَ هُوَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ وَ قُدْرَتِكَ وَ جَمِيعِ مَا أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِي كَذَا وَ كَذَا .


Translation

Abn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Fast the Wednesday, and the Thursday, and the Friday, and pray <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> on the night of the Wednesday and the day of the Wednesday by the pillar which follows the head of the Prophet<sup>saww</sup>; and on the night of the Thursday and the day of the Thursday, by the pillar of Abu Lababa; and on the night of the Friday and the day of the Friday, by the pillar which follows the place of the Prophet<sup>saww</sup>. And supplicate by this supplication for your needs, and it is, ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! I ask You<sup>azwj</sup> by Your<sup>azwj</sup> Honour, and Your<sup>azwj</sup> Strength, and Your<sup>azwj</sup> Power, and the entirety of what Your<sup>azwj</sup> Knowledge Encompasses, that You<sup>azwj</sup> Send Blessings upon Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> and the Progeny<sup>asws</sup> of Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>, and that You<sup>azwj</sup> Give such and such to me’.
