Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Awrama, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassanasws, owner of army (Al-Askar) (11th Imamasws) having said: ‘You should be saying by the head of Al-Husaynasws, ‘The greetings be upon youasws, O Abu Abdullahasws! The greetings be upon youasws O Proof of Allahazwj in Hisazwj earth, and Hisazwj witness upon Hisazwj creatures. The greetings be upon youasws, O sonasws of Rasool-Allahsaww. The greetings be upon youasws, O sonasws of Ali Al-Murtazaasws. The greetings be upon youasws sonasws of Fatima Al-Zahraasws. I testify that youasws had established the <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>, and gave the Zakat, and enjoined for the goodness and forbade form the evil, and struggled in the Way of Allahazwj until the conviction (death) came to youasws. So may Allahazwj Send Blessings upon youasws, (of both) the living and the dead’. Then place your right cheek upon the grave and say, ‘I testify that youasws are upon the evidence from yourasws Lordazwj. I come acknowledging with my sins for youasws to intercede for me in the Presence of yourasws Lordazwj, O sonasws of Rasool-Allahsaww!’ Then mentioned the Imamsasws with theirasws names, one by one, and say, ‘I testify that youasws all are the Proofs of Allahazwj’. Then say, ‘Write for me a Covenant with youasws, and a promise that I come to you for renewing the Covenant, therefore testify for me in the Presence of yourasws Lordazwj that youasws are the witness’. Muhammad Bin Ja’far Al-Razzaz Al-Kufy, from Muhammad Bin Isa Bin Ubeyd, from the one who mentioned it, from Abu Al-Hassanasws – similar to it.
