سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لَا سَبَقَ إِلَّا فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ أَوْ نَصْلٍ يَعْنِي النِّضَالَ .
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘There shall be no (coming) first except in (racing) a camel-hoof, or a horse hoof, or an arrow-head, meaning archery’.
