كَثْرَةُ النَّوْمِ مَذْهَبَةٌ لِلدِّينِ وَ الدُّنْيَا

ہمارے اصحاب میں سے کچھ، سہل بن زیاد سے، ابن محبوب سے، یونس بن یعقوب سے، ایک مجہول واسطے سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے، آپ نے فرمایا: زیادہ سونا دین اور دنیا کو برباد کر دیتا ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, from the one who mentioned it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Frequency of the sleeping (lead to) departure of the Religion and the world’.
