سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْإِجَارَةِ فَقَالَ صَالِحٌ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ إِذَا نَصَحَ قَدْرَ طَاقَتِهِ قَدْ آجَرَ مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) نَفْسَهُ وَ اشْتَرَطَ فَقَالَ إِنْ شِئْتُ ثَمَانِيَ وَ إِنْ شِئْتُ عَشْراً فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِيهِ أَنْ تَأْجُرَنِي ثَمانِيَ حِجَجٍ فَإِنْ أَتْمَمْتَ عَشْراً فَمِنْ عِنْدِكَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Bundar, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from his father, from Ibn Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al Hassan<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the hiring out, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Correct, there is no problem with it when it is in accordance to his strength. Musa<sup>as</sup> had hired out himself<sup>as</sup> and it was stipulated, so he<sup>as</sup> said: ‘If you (Shuayb<sup>as</sup> so desire eight (years), and if you<sup>as</sup> so desire ten (years)’. So Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Revealed regarding it <span class="iTxt">‘</span><span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:28#h27"><a href="/books/quran:28#h27">[28:27]</a></a> you should serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be of your own free will</span>’.
