إِيَّاكُمْ وَ الدَّيْنَ فَإِنَّهُ مَذَلَّةٌ بِالنَّهَارِ وَ مَهَمَّةٌ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ قَضَاءٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ قَضَاءٌ فِي الْآخِرَةِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> from his<sup>asws</sup> forefathers<sup>asws</sup>, from Ali<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Beware of the debts, for these are a humiliation during the day and a stress during the night, and has to be paid for in the world and in the Hereafter’.
