قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْإِمْلَاكُ يَكُونُ وَ الْعُرْسُ فَيُنْثَرُ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ حَرَامٌ وَ لَكِنْ مَا أَعْطَوْكَ مِنْهُ فَخُذْهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Muhammad Bin Ali, from Abdullah Bin Jabala, from Is’haq Bin Ammar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The events which take place and the weddings, so they throw (food items) upon the people’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Prohibited, but whatever is given to you, so take from it’.
