خَرَجَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ قَبْلَ مُضِيِّهِ بِسَنَتَيْنِ يُخْبِرُنِي بِالْخَلَفِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ قَبْلِ مُضِيِّهِ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ يُخْبِرُنِي بِالْخَلَفِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ .

علی بن محمد، محمد بن علی بن بلال سے، جنہوں نے کہا: ابو محمد علیہ السلام کی طرف سے میرے پاس ان کی وفات سے دو سال پہلے یہ خبر لے کر آیا کہ ان کے بعد جانشین کون ہوگا۔ پھر ان کی وفات سے تین دن پہلے میرے پاس آیا اور مجھے ان کے بعد جانشین کے بارے میں خبر دی۔
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ali Bin Bilal who said, ‘There came out to me from Abu Muhammad<sup>asws</sup> (11<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) before his<sup>asws</sup> passing away by two years informing me of the replacement (Imam<sup>asws</sup>) from after him<sup>asws</sup>. Then there came to me from before his<sup>asws</sup> passing away by three days informing me with the replacement (Imam<sup>asws</sup> from after him<sup>asws</sup>)’.
