Translation
From him, from Al Hajjal, from Ubeyd Bin Is’haq who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullahasws, ‘I am an owner of plam trees, so inform me with a limit that I should end up to with regards to it from the full measurement’. So Abu Abdullahasws said: ‘Intend the full measurement. So if you give by your hand with a deficiency and you have intended the full measurement, you would be from the people of the full measurement; and if you were to intend the deficiency, then you (by fluke) give the full measurement, you would be from people who have measured out deficiently’.
