Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abdul Rahman Bin Al Hajjaj, from Minhal Al Qassab who said, ‘Abu Abdullah^asws said: ‘Do not receive trade outside the city, for Rasool-Allah^saww forbade from the receiving of trade outside the city’. I said, ‘And what is the limit of the receiving the trade outside the city?’ He^asws said: ‘What is less than one <span class="iTxt">Gadwa</span> or a <span class="iTxt">Rawha</span>’. I said, ‘And how much is the <span class="iTxt">Gadwa</span> and the <span class="iTxt">Rawha</span>?’ He^asws said: ‘Four Farsakhs (about six miles)’. Ibn Abu Umeyr (the narrator) said, ‘And what is above that, so it is not (classified as) receiving the trade outside the city’.
