John Shaqi

عُهْدَةُ الْبَيْعِ فِي الرَّقِيقِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ إِنْ كَانَ بِهَا خَبَلٌ أَوْ بَرَصٌ أَوْ نَحْوُ هَذَا وَ عُهْدَتُهُ السَّنَةُ مِنَ الْجُنُونِ فَمَا بَعْدَ السَّنَةِ فَلَيْسَ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The custody of the sale regarding the slaves is of three days if there was a dementia or leprosy with it, or approximat to this, and its custody is of a year from the insanity. So whatever was after the (expiry) of the year, so it is not with anything (invalid)’.
