John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْرِكَ فَقَالَ إِذَا كَانَ فِي تِلْكَ الْأَرْضِ بَيْعٌ لَهُ غَلَّةٌ قَدْ أَدْرَكَتْ فَبَيْعُ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ حَلَالٌ .


Translation

Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Sama’at, from someone else, from Ismail Bin Al Fazl who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about selling the fruits before they ripen, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If it was such that in that particular land, selling of it is (like selling) a crop which has ripened, so selling all of that is Permissible’.
