كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) الرَّجُلُ يُسْلِفُنِي فِي الطَّعَامِ فَيَجِيءُ الْوَقْتُ وَ لَيْسَ عِنْدِي طَعَامٌ أُعْطِيهِ بِقِيمَتِهِ دَرَاهِمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ .
Translation
Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muawiya Bin Hukeym, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Fazzal who said, ‘I wrote to Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The man left for me (money) regarding the foodstuff. So the time (of delivery) came up, and there was no foodstuff with me. Can I give him Dirhams of its value (instead)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes’.
