قُلْتُ لَهُ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الْبُرِّ بِالسَّوِيقِ فَقَالَ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ قُلْتُ إِنَّهُ يَكُونُ لَهُ رَيْعٌ أَوْ يَكُونُ لَهُ فَضْلٌ فَقَالَ أَ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَئُونَةٌ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ هَذَا بِذَا وَ قَالَ إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ الشَّيْئَانِ فَلَا بَأْسَ مِثْلَيْنِ بِمِثْلٍ يَداً بِيَدٍ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Al A’ala, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘What are you<sup>asws</sup> saying regarding the (bartering of) the wheat with the <span class="iTxt">Saweyq</span> (mash of wheat and barley). So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Similar with similar, there is no problem with it’. I said, ‘(Supposing) he happens to have a yield for him or happens to have excess for him?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Does he not have maintenance for it?’ I said, ‘Yes’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This by this’. And he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When the two things are different, so there is no problem with two with one, hand to hand’.
