رَجُلٍ اشْتَرَى جَارِيَةً فَوَقَعَ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ إِنْ وَجَدَ فِيهَا عَيْباً فَلَيْسَ لَهُ أَنْ يَرُدَّهَا وَ لَكِنْ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ بِقِيمَةِ مَا نَقَصَهَا الْعَيْبُ قَالَ قُلْتُ هَذَا قَوْلُ عَلِيٍّ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ نَعَمْ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Safwan, from Mansour Bin Hazim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who buys a slave girl, so he falls upon her. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If he find a defact in her, so it is not for him that he can return her, but there would be returned back to him with a price of what the deficient defact of hers’. I said, ‘This is a word of Ali<sup>asws</sup>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes’.
