سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ وَصَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) عَلِيّاً ( عليه السلام ) عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ فَقَالَ يَا عَلِيُّ لَا يُظْلَمُ الْفَلَّاحُونَ بِحَضْرَتِكَ وَ لَا يَزْدَادُ عَلَى أَرْضٍ وَضَعْتَ عَلَيْهَا وَ لَا سُخْرَةَ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ يَعْنِي الْأَجِيرَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel Bin Darraj, from Ali Al Azraq who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> bequeathed to Ali<sup>asws</sup> at the time of his<sup>saww</sup> passing away, so he<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘O Ali<sup>asws</sup>! Do not let the peasants be oppressed in your<sup>asws</sup> presence, and do not let the taxes increase upon the land, and do not let forced labout be upon a Muslim’ - meaning the employee’.
