John Shaqi

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ أَنْ يُشَارِكَ الذِّمِّيَّ وَ لَا يُبْضِعَهُ بِضَاعَةً وَ لَا يُودِعَهُ وَدِيعَةً وَ لَا يُصَافِيَهُ الْمَوَدَّةَ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Ra’ib who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is not befitting for the Muslim man that he does a partnership with the Zimmy, nor place the merchandise with him, nor entrust him with an entrustment, nor have sincere cordiality (with him)’.
