يَكُونُ بَيْنَ الْبِئْرَيْنِ إِنْ كَانَتْ أَرْضاً صُلْبَةً خَمْسُمِائَةِ ذِرَاعٍ وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ أَرْضاً رِخْوَةً فَأَلْفُ ذِرَاعٍ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Hilal, from Uqba Bin Khalid, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There should happen to be five hundred cubits between two wells if there was solid ground, and if it was soft ground, so a thousand cubits’.
