مَا بَيْنَ بِئْرِ الْمَعْطِنِ إِلَى بِئْرِ الْمَعْطِنِ أَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعاً وَ مَا بَيْنَ بِئْرِ النَّاضِحِ إِلَى بِئْرِ النَّاضِحِ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعاً وَ مَا بَيْنَ الْعَيْنِ إِلَى الْعَيْنِ يَعْنِي الْقَنَاةَ خَمْسُمِائَةِ ذِرَاعٍ وَ الطَّرِيقُ يَتَشَاحُّ عَلَيْهِ أَهْلُهُ فَحَدُّهُ سَبْعَةُ أَذْرُعٍ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘What is to be between a regular well to a regular well is of forty cubits, and what is to be between the irrigating well to an irrigating well is sixty cubits, and what is to be between the spring to a spring, meaning the canal, is five hundred cubits, and the road which its people dispute over it, so its limit is of seven cubits’.
