John Shaqi

قَالَ لَيْسَ لَكَ أَنْ تَتَّهِمَ مَنِ ائْتَمَنْتَهُ وَ لَا تَأْتَمِنَ الْخَائِنَ وَ قَدْ جَرَّبْتَهُ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Haroun Bin Muslim, from Mas’ada Bin Sadaqa, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘It is not for you that you accuse the one you trust, nor trust a betrayer whom you have tried out yourself’.
