John Shaqi

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَنِ ائْتَمَنَ شَارِبَ الْخَمْرِ عَلَى أَمَانَةٍ بَعْدَ عِلْمِهِ فِيهِ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ضَمَانٌ وَ لَا أَجْرٌ لَهُ وَ لَا خَلَفٌ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Khalid Bin jareer, from Abu Al Rabi’e, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Prophet<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The one who entrusts a drinker of the wine upon an entrustment after his knowledge with regards to it, so there is no guarantee for him upon Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, nor would there be any Recompense for him, nor a compensation’.
