وَ لا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ قَالَ لِيَكُنِ النَّاسُ عِنْدَكَ فِي الْعِلْمِ سَوَاءً .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد البرقی سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن المغیرة اور محمد بن سنان سے، انہوں نے طلحة بن زید سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے اس آیت کے بارے میں روایت کی: 'اور لوگوں سے غرور سے منہ نہ پھیرو' آپ نے فرمایا: 'لوگ علم میں تمہارے نزدیک برابر ہونے چاہئیں۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al Barq, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira and Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Talha Bin Zayd, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding this Verse <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:31#h18"><a href="/books/quran:31#h18">[31:18]</a></a> And do not turn your cheek away from people in contempt</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘For the people to happen to be equal with you regarding the knowledge’.
