سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ الْمُحْصَناتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ فَقَالَ هَذِهِ مَنْسُوخَةٌ بِقَوْلِهِ وَ لا تُمْسِكُوا بِعِصَمِ الْكَوافِرِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ali Bin Raib, from Zurara Bin Ayn who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:5#h5"><a href="/books/quran:5#h5">[5:5]</a></a> and the chaste women from among those who have been Given the Book before you (are lawful for you)</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This is Abrogated by His<sup>azwj</sup> Words <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:60#h10"><a href="/books/quran:60#h10">[60:10]</a></a> and hold not to the ties of marriage of unbelieving women</span>’.
