عبداللہ بن شقیق کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نفل نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ رات تک کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھتے اور دیر تک بیٹھ کر پڑھتے جب آپ کھڑے ہو کر قرأت کرتے تو رکوع اور سجدہ بھی کھڑے کھڑے کرتے اور جب بیٹھ کر قرأت کرتے تو رکوع اور سجدہ بھی بیٹھ کر ہی کرتے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Translation

Abdullah bun Shaqiq narrated from Aishah, he said:"I asked her about the voluntary Salat of Allah's Messenger (S), she said: 'He would pray long into the night standing, and long into the night sitting. So when he recited and he was standing, he would bow and prostrate whole he was standing, and when he recited while he was sitting, he bowed and prostrated while he was sitting
