«إِذَا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ اَلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ أَنْتَ فِي اَلصَّلاَةِ فَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ فِيمَا بَيْنَكَ وَ بَيْنَ نَفْسِكَ وَ لاَ تَرْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ.

اور عمار السباتی نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے نماز میں سلام کرنے کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: اگر کوئی مسلمان تمہیں نماز میں سلام کرے تو تم اپنے دل میں جواب دو اور اپنی آواز بلند نہ کرو۔
Translation
Hadith.1064 - Ammar al-Sabati asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about greeting someone while in prayer. Imam (as) said: "If a man from the Muslims greets you while you are in prayer, respond to him within yourself and do not raise your voice”.
