«إِنْ كَانَ يَدُورُ حَوْلَهُ فَلاَ يُقَصِّرْ وَ إِنْ كَانَ تَجَاوَزَ اَلْوَقْتَ فَلْيُقَصِّرْ.

ʿĪṣ ibn al-Qāsim نے ان سے، علیہ السلام، روایت کیا کہ ان سے ایک شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا جو شکار کے لیے جاتا ہے، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: اگر وہ اپنے علاقے کے اندر گھوم رہا ہو تو اسے نماز مختصر نہیں کرنی چاہیے۔ لیکن اگر وہ حد سے تجاوز کر چکا ہو تو اسے نماز مختصر کرنی چاہیے۔
Translation
Hadith.1312 - Ays ibn al-Qasim reported that He (as) was asked about a man who goes hunting. Imam (as) said: "If he is moving around within his vicinity (local area), then he should not shorten his prayer. But if he goes beyond (a specified distance), he should shorten."
