هِ فِدَاءٌ فَقَالَ «مُدٌّ مِنْ طَعَامٍ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ ».

عیص ابن القاسم نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا: ایسے شخص کے بارے میں جو ہر مہینے کے تین دن روزہ نہیں رکھتا جبکہ روزہ رکھنا اس کے لیے مشکل ہے: کیا اس میں کوئی فدیہ ہے؟ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “ہر دن کے لیے ایک مدّ کھانے کا۔”
Translation
Hadith.1793 - Iys ibn al-Qasim asked Abu Abdullah (Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as)) about someone who does not fast the three days of every month and finds fasting difficult. Is there a compensation for this? Imam (as) said: "A mudd (a measure) of food for each day."
