«تَتَّزِرُ بِإِزَارٍ إِلَى اَلرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَ تُخْرِجُ سُرَّتَهَا ثُمَّ لَهُ مَا فَوْقَ اَلْإِزَارِ.

عُبیداللہ ابن علی الحلبی نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے حیض والی عورت کے بارے میں پوچھا کہ اس کے شوہر کے لیے اس میں کیا جائز ہے۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: “وہ اپنے آپ کو ایک ازار سے گھیرے جو گھٹنوں تک ہو اور اپنی ناف کو کھلا چھوڑ دے؛ پھر اس ازار کے اوپر جو کچھ ہے وہ اس کے لیے جائز ہے۔”
Translation
Hadith.204 - Ubaidullah ibn Ali Al-Halabi asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about what is permissible for a husband with regard to his menstruating wife. Imam (as) said: 'She should cover herself with a cloth (izar) from her navel to her knees, and he may have what is above the izar.'.
