قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : «أَمَا إِنَّ فِي اَلْفِطْرِ تَكْبِيراً وَ لَكِنَّهُ مَسْنُونٌ» قَالَ قُلْتُ فَأَيْنَ هُوَ قَالَ «فِي لَيْلَةِ اَلْفِطْرِ فِي اَلْمَغْرِبِ وَ اَلْعِشَاءِ اَلْآخِرَةِ وَ فِي صَلاَةِ اَلْفَجْرِ وَ فِي صَلاَةِ اَلْعِيدِ» وَ فِي غَيْرِ رِوَايَةِ سَعِيدٍ «وَ فِي اَلظُّهْرِ وَ اَلْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ تَقْطَعُ» قَالَ قُلْتُ كَيْفَ أَقُولُ قَالَ «تَقُولُ اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اَللَّهُ وَ اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَ لِلَّهِ اَلْحَمْدُ اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ عَلَى مَا هَدَانَا وَ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى مَا أَبْلاَنَا وَ هُوَ قَوْلُ اَللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ « وَ لِتُكْمِلُوا اَلْعِدَّةَ» يَعْنِي اَلصِّيَامَ: وَ لِتُكَبِّرُوا اَللّٰهَ عَلىٰ مٰا هَدٰاكُمْ ».

سعید النقاش نے روایت کی، کہتے ہیں: ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام نے مجھ سے فرمایا: "بے شک، الفطر میں تکبیر ہے، لیکن یہ مستحب سنت ہے۔" انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے کہا، "تو یہ کہاں ہے؟" انہوں نے فرمایا: "فطر کی رات، مغرب اور آخری عشاء میں، اور فجر کی نماز اور عید کی نماز میں۔" اور سعید کی روایت کے علاوہ ایک روایت میں: "ظہر اور عصر میں بھی، پھر یہ ختم ہو جاتا ہے۔" انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے کہا، "میں اسے کیسے کہوں؟" انہوں نے فرمایا: "تم کہو: اللہ اکبر، اللہ اکبر، لا الہ الا اللہ، اور اللہ اکبر، اللہ اکبر، اور اللہ ہی کی تمام تعریف ہے۔ اللہ اکبر ہے اس بات پر کہ اس نے ہمیں ہدایت دی، اور تمام تعریف اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے کہ اس نے ہمیں آزمائش میں ڈالا۔" اور یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے، جو عظمت والا اور جلیل القدر ہے: "اور تاکہ تم پورا کرو عدد کو" یعنی روزے کا، "اور تاکہ تم اللہ کی بڑائی بیان کرو اس بات پر جو اس نے تمہیں ہدایت دی ہے۔"
Translation
Hadith.2034 - It is narrated by Sa'id al-Naqqash, who said: Abu Abdullah (as) said to me: "Indeed, there is Takbir (declaration of Allah’s (swt) greatness) associated with Eid al-Fitr, but it is a recommended Sunnah." Sa'id said: "I asked: Where is it to be performed?" Imam (as) replied: "On the night of Eid al-Fitr during the Maghrib (sunset prayer) and the Isha (night prayer), during the Fajr (dawn prayer), and during the Eid prayer." In another narration (not from Sa'id), it is also reported: "And during the Zuhr (noon prayer) and Asr (afternoon prayer), and then it ends." Sa'id said: "I asked: How should I say it?" Imam (as) replied: "Say: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, wa Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahi al-hamd. Allahu Akbar for what He has guided us to, and al-hamdulillah for what He has bestowed upon us." This is the statement of Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic: “And complete the prescribed period (of fasting), and glorify Allah for having guided you.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:185).
