اَلصِّيَامِ وَ كَانَ يُوَاصِلُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ «إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ إِنِّي أَظَلُّ عِنْدَ رَبِّي فَيُطْعِمُنِي وَ يَسْقِينِي».

اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے صوم میں وصال یعنی لگاتار روزہ رکھنے سے منع فرمایا۔ اور وہ روزہ جاری رکھتے تھے، تو ان سے اس بارے میں کہا گیا، تو آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: "بے شک میں تم میں سے کسی کی طرح نہیں ہوں۔ بے شک میں اپنے رب کے پاس رہتا ہوں، اور وہ مجھے کھلاتا اور پلاتا ہے۔"
Translation
Hadith.2046 - The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) prohibited continuous fasting (without breaking the fast at night). However, He (sw) himself practiced it. When He was asked about this, He (sw) said: "I am not like one of you. I remain in the presence of my Lord (azj), and He provides me with food and drink."
