«لَيْسَ مِنَ اَلصَّيْدِ إِنَّمَا اَلطَّيْرُ مَا طَارَ بَيْنَ اَلسَّمَاءِ وَ اَلْأَرْضِ وَ صَفَّ ».
اردو
معاویہ بن عمار نے ان سے حبشی مرغیوں کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: یہ شکار میں شامل نہیں ہیں؛ بلکہ پرندے وہ ہیں جو آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان پرواز کرتے ہیں اور اپنے پروں کو پھیلاتے ہیں۔
Translation
Hadith.2380 - Mu'awiya ibn Ammar asked him about Ethiopian chickens. Imam (as) replied: "It is not considered part of the game (ṣayd); game birds are those that fly between the sky and the earth and flap their wings."
