: قُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ نَرَى اَلدَّوَابَّ فِي بُطُونِ أَيْدِيهَا مِثْلُ اَلرُّقْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَاطِنِ يَدَيْهَا مِثْلُ اَلْكَيِّ فَأَيُّ شَيْءٍ هُوَ قَالَ «ذَلِكَ مَوْضِعُ مَنْخِرَيْهِ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ.

حَمَّاد ابن عُثمان نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے کہا، “میں تمہاری فدیہ ہوں، ہم جانوروں کے اگلے پاؤں کی نیچے کی طرف دو دھبوں کی مانند چیزیں دیکھتے ہیں، ان کے ہاتھوں کے اندرونی طرف، نشان کی طرح۔ تو یہ کیا ہے؟” انہوں نے فرمایا، “یہ اس کی نتھنوں کی جگہ ہے جو اس کی ماں کے پیٹ میں تھی۔”
Translation
Hadith.2476 - Hammad ibn Uthman narrated from Abu Abdullah (as), who said: I said to him, "May I be your ransom! We see markings on the undersides of the forelegs of animals, like two patches or brands. What is that?" Imam (as) replied: "That is the place where their nostrils were positioned while they were in their mother's womb."
