: قُلْتُ لَهُ اَلْمَرْأَةُ تَسْعَى بَيْنَ اَلصَّفَا وَ اَلْمَرْوَةِ عَلَى دَابَّةٍ أَوْ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ قَالَ «لاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ» قَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ «لاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ وَ اَلْمَشْيُ أَفْضَلُ.

معاویہ بن عمار نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے کہا: کیا عورت صفا اور مروہ کے درمیان سعی کرتی ہے، وہ بھی سواری پر یا اونٹ پر؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: "اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔" انہوں نے فرمایا: اور میں نے ان سے مرد کے بارے میں پوچھا جو ایسا کرے۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: "اس میں بھی کوئی حرج نہیں، لیکن چلنا افضل ہے۔"
Translation
Hadith.2851 - Mu'awiyah ibn Ammar narrated from Abu Abdullah (as) saying: I asked him about a woman performing Sa'i (running between Safa and Marwah) on a mount or a camel. Imam (as) said: "There is no problem with that." I also asked him about a man doing the same, Imam (as) said: "There is no problem with it, but walking is better."
