: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ إِنَّ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ يُتِمُّونَ اَلصَّلاَةَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ فَقَالَ «وَيْلَهُمْ أَوْ وَيْحَهُمْ وَ أَيُّ سَفَرٍ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ لاَ يُتَمُّ».

معاویہ ابن عمار نے روایت کی، کہتے ہیں: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: "مکہ کے لوگ عرفات میں نماز مکمل ادا کرتے ہیں۔" تو انہوں نے فرمایا: "ان پر وای ہے، یا افسوس ان پر! اور کون سا سفر اس سے زیادہ سخت ہے؟ اسے مکمل ادا نہیں کیا جاتا۔"
Translation
Hadith.2984 - Mu'awiyah ibn Ammar narrated: I said to Abu Abdullah (as): "The people of Mecca pray the full (four-unit) prayer at Arafat." Imam (as) said: "Woe to them, or alas for them! What journey is more arduous than this? It should not be performed in full (but shortened to two units)."
