: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ يَوْمَ اَلْحَجِّ اَلْأَكْبَرِ فَقَالَ «هُوَ يَوْمُ اَلنَّحْرِ وَ اَلْأَصْغَرُ هُوَ اَلْعُمْرَةُ ».

یہ روایت ہے معاوِیہ بن عمار سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے یومِ حجِ اکبر کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا، 'یہ یومِ نحر ہے اور چھوٹا حج عمرہ ہے۔'
Translation
Hadith.3041 - It is narrated from Mu'awiya ibn Ammar who said: "I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about the Day of the Greater Pilgrimage (Yawm al-Hajj al-Akbar). He said, 'It is the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr), and the Lesser Pilgrimage (al-Asghar) is the Umrah.'"
