رَجُلٍ شَهِدَ عَلَى شَهَادَةِ رَجُلٍ فَجَاءَ اَلرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَمْ أُشْهِدْهُ قَالَ "تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ أَعْدَلِهِمَا وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ عَدَالَتُهُمَا وَاحِدَةً لَمْ تَجُزْ شَهَادَتُهُ ".

اور یہ روایت ہے عبد اللہ بن سنان سے، عبد الرحمن بن ابی عبد اللہ سے، ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے: ایک شخص کے بارے میں جو دوسرے شخص کی گواہی پر گواہی دیتا ہے، پھر وہ شخص آتا ہے اور کہتا ہے: "بے شک، میں نے اسے گواہ نہیں بنایا۔" انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: "دو میں سے زیادہ عادل کی گواہی قبول کی جاتی ہے، اور اگر دونوں کی عدالت برابر ہو تو اس کی گواہی قبول نہیں کی جاتی۔"
Translation
Hadith.3353 - It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Sinan, from Abdurrahman ibn Abi Abdullah, from Abu Abdullah (as) regarding a man who testified based on the testimony of another man, and then the original man said: 'I did not make him a witness,' Imam (as) said: "The testimony of the more upright of the two is accepted, but if their uprightness is equal, then his testimony is not accepted."
