: "قَضَى رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ فِي سَيْلِ وَادِي مَهْزُورٍ أَنْ يُحْبَسَ اَلْأَعْلَى عَلَى اَلْأَسْفَلِ اَلْمَاءُ لِلزَّرْعِ إِلَى اَلشِّرَاكِ وَ لِلنَّخْلِ إِلَى اَلْكَعْبِ ثُمَّ يُرْسَلَ اَلْمَاءُ إِلَى اَلْأَسْفَلِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ".

غیاث ابن ابراہیم نے ابو عبداللہ سے، ان کے آباؤ اجداد سے، علی علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے وادی مہزور کے سیلابی پانی کے بارے میں حکم دیا کہ اوپر کی زمین پانی کو نیچے کی زمین پر روک لے: فصلوں کے لیے جب تک کہ پانی سینڈل کی پٹی کی سطح تک پہنچ جائے، اور کھجور کے درختوں کے لیے جب تک کہ پانی ٹخنے تک پہنچ جائے؛ پھر پانی نیچے کی زمین کو چھوڑ دیا جائے۔
Translation
Hadith.3410 - Ghiyath bin Ibrahim narrated from Abu Abdullah (as), from his forefathers, from Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as): The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) ruled regarding the floodwaters of the Valley of Mahzur that the upper part should hold the water for irrigation until it reaches the level of the sandal strap for crops and the level of the ankle for palm trees. Then the water should be released to the lower areas from that point.
